If there is one aspect of the game that has been revolutionised , it has to be the fielding. Not only this is seen in limited-over cricket, but it is also quite prevalent in Test cricket these days. The fielders have taken this to another level as they are willing to throw themselves for every ball with a possibility of wicket.
On Day 1 of the 1st Test between Australia and South Africa, the visitors were invited to bat first and were bowled out for a score of 152 in just 49 overs. With just 152 on board, the Proteas then took the ball and were brilliant at it from the very first delivery.
On the first ball of the first over of Australia inning, Kagiso Rabada bowled a short ball. With some extra bounce assisting the pitch, Warner, who was at strike, tried to defend and got an edge. Khaya Zondo who was placed at short leg, leaped at full stretch and completed the catch to dismiss the opening batter. The video of this brilliant catch is now doing rounds on social media.

After clinching first ball-wicket, Marco Jansen too scalped a wicket in the first ball of his first over. He dismissed Marnus Labuschagne (11 off 24) while Anrich Nortje took the third to reduce Australia at 27/3 in the 10th over. However, the hosts have managed to almost reach the target, trailing by only 7 runs.
