Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav took an exceptional catch in his second attempt to send Rashid Khan back to pavilion during India versus Afghanistan at ODI World Cup 2023. In their second clash of the ICC event, the Men in Blue locked horns with Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on October 11, Wednesday. Winning the toss, Shahidi invited the hosts to field first.

During the 49th over, when Afghanistan were at 261 at the loss of seven wickets, Yadav took a stunning catch in his second attempt to dismiss Rashid Khan off a Jasprit Bumrah delivery. After their eighth success for the day, the Indian cricketer was mobbed by Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma, who congratulated Yadav for his brilliant effort. Khan walked back after his short stay of 16 runs off 12 balls.
