Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, has landed in Yaoundé, Cameroon, for a three-day trip. Mbappe will tour the nation over the next few days, meeting with reporters and cooperating with authorities in a variety of ways. The forward and his father, Wilfried Mbappe, were warmly welcomed by supporters and officials upon their arrival in the capital city of Cameroon on Thursday.

The champion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup was born in Paris to an Algerian French mother, Fayza Lamari, and a Cameroonian father named Wilfried. Also, Mbappe once tried out for the African nation. The forward is set to visit a school for the deaf and hearing impaired, thus several activities have been planned for him.

According to African News, Mbappé's charity 'Inspired By KM' donated money to renovate the school, which is situated in the Yaounde suburbs of Cameroon. During his visit to the African country, hundreds of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the French superstar.

The 24-year-old will also take some time to play for a local club in a basketball game and a football game. Mbappé is scheduled to take part in a variety of activities while in Cameroon, including excursions to nearby attractions and a unique game with the Vent d'Etoudi Football Club, a second-division team in Cameroon that is owned by famed tennis player Yannick Noah. On Saturday, he would go to his father's village.

Mbappé announced last month that he would not renew his contract, which is up next year, but he has said he wants to stay for one more year. To avoid losing the player for nothing when his contract expires, the club must sell him during the current transfer window. Mbappé "must sign a new contract if he wishes to play for the team again in the upcoming campaign,” said PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi, on Wednesday.

He moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco in August 2017 in a transaction worth 180 million euros ($196 million), and since then, he has emerged as one of the most well-known players in the world.
