LA Lakers suffered 119-135 loss to Houston Rockets on Monday night. In the loss, Lakers sustained a massive blow with star player LeBron also getting hit in head when he was positioned on the receiving end in match against the Rockets. The incident took place almost halfway through the fourth quarter when James and Brooks both went for a rebound off the Rockets’ glass.

Soon after the release of ball, Brooks appeared to catch James with his left arm which came down on LeBron’s head, sending the Lakers star to the ground. However, Brooks received a flagrant 1 foul on a box out. The American power forward appeared to be in pain but continued to play for the remainder of the game.

Speaking after Lakers’ loss, ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin questioned James about Brooks’ nature. However, the 39-year-old preferred to stay tight-lipped and replied, “Next question”.

Recently, LeBron James became the first player to be named in 20 All-Star teams, when he was selected for the Western Conference as part of the league’s unveiling of the 10 starters for next month’s All Star Game in Indianapolis. The LA Lakers surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most All-Star nods in NBA history. James will be joined by Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, Suns’ Kevin Durant, Mavs guard Luka Doncic and City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
