Argentina and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi joined hands with Hollywood megastar Will S mith and Martin Lawrence to promote Bad Boys 4. The iconic duo of Smith and Lawerence are returning for the fourth iteration of the iconic Bad Boys franchise which is set to release on June 7 2024. The film has been directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed the third instalment of the Bad Boys series.
Hence ahead of the release of this blockbuster, Lionel Messi partnered up with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in a video that has been making the rounds of the internet. In the viral clip, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are looking into Miami Marina as they plan to kick away the football when Messi enters the frame and smashes the ball into the camera.

The video had a caption saying, " Pateando con los chicos. #BadBoys. Kickin’ it with the boys. #BadBoys." Messi and Smith shared a heartfelt in February 2024 as Inter Miami defeated Real Salt Lake in the MLS.

Over the last few days, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami faced criticism as the Argentine talisman wasn't available for the game against Vancouver Whitecaps. Addressing Messi's absence, Inter Miami head coach Tata Martino said, “It must be stressed that he has played a lot of minutes this season, so we had to find a moment to give him a break and to rest him for a match. In this specific case, the trip to Vancouver made the most sense."
"We understand people’s frustrations, especially because of the desire these fans have to see these players. But as coaches, we have to make these decisions that are uncomfortable and that will frustrate people, but ultimately we have to look after our players and the team."
