The WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul, escaped the wrath of Randy Orton on the latest episode of SmackDown, hightailing out of the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville in a car. The incident happened after Randy Orton and Kevin Owens lost their tag team matc h against Kit Wilson and Elton Prince of the Pretty Deadly, due to Logan Paul’s interference.
WWE SmackDown kicked off with the tag team match between Orton and Owens against Wilson and Prince, which was a hard-hitting affair. In the later stages, when the former world champions were set to put away the Pretty Deadly, Logan Paul came out from under the ring to make a big impact.
Kevin Owens got a big right hand from the WWE United States Champion, allowing Elton Prince to score the pinfall, securing one of the biggest wins for Pretty Deadly in their short tenure on WWE SmackDown. Randy Orton wasn’t pleased with Kevin Owens losing the match, berating him about it before he headed under the ring to pull out Logan Paul to beat him up.
Although the Pretty Deadly saved Logan Paul, they ate a stunner and an RKO from Kevin Owens and Randy Orton respectively, for their troubles. Moments later, Orton ran towards Paul in the backstage area, but the WWE United States Champion was crafty enough to make a successful retreat, hopping in a car to haul himself out of the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville.
However, Randy Orton won’t have to wait for long to get his hands on Logan Paul, when he competes against him and Kevin Owens in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania XL for the WWE United States Championship.
