The Dallas Mavericks star, Luka Doncic, met with the Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, before game three in the NBA playoffs round one against the Los Angeles Clippers at the American Airlines Center. Luka Doncic, who began his professional career with the Real Madrid basketball team, helmed by Florentino Perez, joined the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks in 2018.
During his playing days at the Real Madrid basketball team, Luka Doncic got the chance to rub shoulders with Cristiano Ronaldo. At the age of 19, “The Boy Wonder” became the youngest winner of the EuroLeague’s MVP award during the 2017-18 season, before securing the NBA Rookie of the Year award next year in his debut season with the Mavs.
After meeting Florentino Perez on the court, Luka Doncic took part in the third game of the NBA Western Conference playoffs round one, wherein the Dallas Mavericks had a tough start during the first quarter. But they took the decisive lead of 54-41 against the Los Angeles Clippers at the halfway break.
The second half saw the Clippers push the Mavs all the way, but they were unable to overhaul the deficit by much, losing the game 101-90.

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving played a big part for the Dallas Mavericks in taking a 2-1 lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the best-of-seven series. Doncic scored 22 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Irving wasn’t much behind either with his 21 points, along with four rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, it was the duo of James Harden and Norman Powell notching up 21 points each, but it wasn’t enough for the Los Angeles Clippers on the night.
