Mario Balotelli, the Italian professional footballer, has escaped serious injury after he lost control of his Audi R8 to crash it into a wall in Orzinuovi, Brescia, near his hometown. The impact of the accident caused the airbags of the car to inflate, which saved the 33-year-old, who plays club football for Super Lig club Adana Demirspor in Turkey, from a major catastrophe.

The refusal to take the breathalyser test gave the local authorities in Italy no other choice but to confiscate Mario Balotelli's driver's license. Moreover, the brother of the Italian, Enock Barwuah, who was training nearby with his local football team, arrived at the scene to take him home after the local authorities gave him the all-clear.
Notably, after signing with Adana Demirspor in September, he has scored three goals in five matches. He was given permission to return home by the Turkish club to complete his recovery from injury before rejoining them in some time.
