Ahead of the highly-anticipated boxing fight between legendary Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the 57-year-old was seen squaring off against Shannon Briggs on the street. Tyson and Briggs went shirtless as they took on each other in Brownsville, Brooklyn, a neighborhood where Tyson moved at 10 years old and spent most of his childhood.

Mike Tyson took his training for the Jake Paul fight, which will be aired on Netflix, to the next level as he fought Briggs on the street. Following a verbal exchange between the two, Tyson took off his shirt and held up his fists, while Briggs followed suit and the duo were involved in a friendly slap boxing match.

Mike Tyson took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the video of his street brawl with Shannon Briggs and wrote, "Brownsville’s finest always ready for a brawl. Love this guy @TheCannonBriggs"

Apart from Tyson, Shannon Briggs took to his Instagram handle and posted another video from their street fight. Briggs wrote, " @miketyson and @cannon_briggs in Brownsville having a straightener in front of #AtlanticTowers !!!! @smoothedahustler the referee!!!! It’s on!!! #brownsvillebrooklyn #brownsvilleboxingacademy #thebrownsvilleboxingacademy #chaaammmppp🎶🎶🎶 #LETSGOCHAMP "

While Paul, 27, has a 9-1 record in professional boxing, the 57-year-old Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers with 50 wins (44 knockouts) and 6 losses in his boxing career.  Paul's Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) partnered with streaming giant Netflix, which will be stepping into combat sports for the first time after airing two live sporting events, to produce the boxing main card event between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson in July.
