Boxing legend Mike Tyson reignited his beef with Jake Paul as they both came against each other during a press conference in New York. Both Tyson and Paul are set to clash in a highly-anticipated bout in November this year. The duo was earlier set to fight on July 20 this year, which would have also marked Tyson’s return in the ring. He was last up against Roy Jones Jr back in 2020. However, the fight had to be postponed after Tyson faced a health issue.
Following which, boxer Mike Perry replaced Tyson, who was knocked out by Paul. In the recently-concluded press conference, Tyson showed no signs of worry and was healthy as he ended up shoving and punching Paul on the chest. The duo, which are separated by 31 years, will be fighting at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
During the conference, Tyson cleared that he is absolutely fine and informed that he resumed his training a few weeks ago. The 58-year-old said, “Because I can. Who else can do it but me? Who else is he going to fight to make this happen? We've just got to listen to the facts. We’ve got a YouTuber fighting the greatest fighter that ever lived. Hey listen, I’m just ready."
On the other hand, Paul, who was booed and heckled by the crowd during the conference said, I am here to make 40 million dollars and knock out a legend. I love Mike and I respect him but we are not friends anymore until November 15.”
