Mohammad Amir, the former Pakistan cricketer, was spotted getting angry at a fan for calling him a “fixer” during the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The heated verbal exchange between Mohammad Amir and the fan happened when he played for Quetta Gladiators against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, March 10, at the National Stadium in Karachi.
On the social media platform X, a video has gone viral, wherein a fan behind the railing, shouted “fixer fixer” towards Mohammad Amir, who walked past him to make his way to the field at the National Stadium. But, he swiftly returned to confront the fan, shouting expletives at him before saying, “Ghar se yehi seekh ke aate ho (Is this what you learn at your home?)”.
Notably, in 2010, Mohammad Amir, a star in the making in the cricketing world, was embroiled in a spot-fixing episode, bowling deliberate no-balls against England at the Lord’s in London. As an 18-year-old player, he faced a five-year ban from cricket and received a jail sentence, alongside Mohammad Asif, and the Pakistan captain at that time, Salman Butt.
