The India tour of the West Indies is underway with the first test in Dominica as captain Kraigg Braithwaite chose to bat first after winning the toss. Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj took an amazing catch to dismiss Windies batter Jermaine Blackwood on the last ball before lunch.
Ravichandran Ashwin got things started for the Indians as he removed both the openers and pacer Shardul Thakur removed Raymond Reifer. Ravindra Jadeja came into the attack and Blackwood looked settled but Siraj took an extraordinary diving catch to dismiss him on the last ball before lunch.
Blackwood carelessly tried to hit over mid-off but mistimed it and Siraj ran back and jumped on his right to take a one-handed catch. Siraj just stayed on the ground as Jadeja ran towards him to celebrate. However, Indian commentator Aakash Chopra stated, " Nobody will remember Siraj’s catch as bowling tally will still show it as Jadeja’s wicket."

India walked off the field for lunch with West Indies 68/4 in 28 overs and will look to push on and dismiss the West Indians in the second session.
