India cricket legend and Chennai Super Kings MS Dhoni was spotted at the FIH Olympi c Qualifiers Semifinal Match in Ranchi between the Indian and German women's teams. With the Indian Premier League a couple of months away, Dhoni has been spotted across several social gatherings where he has interacted with fellow cricketers and his fans.

Similarly, with the Indian women's team nearing qualification for the upcoming Paris Olympics, Dhoni graced his presence at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium. Talking about the game, the Women in Blue took an early lead thanks to a scintilating Deepika drag-flick in the 15th.

But the Germans clawed back to find a leveller courtesy of Charlotte Stapenhorst's world-class finish just at the end of the first half. Before this crucial fixture, India took down Italy in a dominant 5-1 win. Citing this performance, India captain Savita Punia expressed that the team needs to lock horns with Germany with a positive mindset.
"Room for improvement is always there with every team. We are improving match by match. No team can play perfect hockey any day. What is important for tomorrow's match is our mindset. As a team we need to focus on our goals," she said, ahead of the semis.
