Team India speedster Jasprit Bumrah, have time and again grown in stature as he continues to dominate the world with his top-notch bowling across all formats of cricket. Often regarded as one of the best bowlers in the world, Bumrah, recently lifted the title with Team India at the T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies. 

What he might have achieved, might not be everyone’s cup of tea. His zeal and dedication and down to earth nature makes him a player to look up to, garnering attention from all over the world, especially among the near neighbouring countries. An instance of the same was visible in a video which has gone viral, where a young Pakistani fan was seen emulating Bumrah’s bowling action. 

The video in no time took the internet by storm as several shared it across the platforms. Not only this, the young bowler is also seen matching Bumrah’s follow-up. Moreover, it even caught the eyeballs of former Pakistan international, Wasim Akram.

Former Pakistan cricketer turned commentator, Wasim Akram was even left impressed with the youngster’s bowling. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the 58-year-old reshared his video and captioned it, “Wah jee wah look at that control and action exactly like the great @Jaspritbumrah93 video of the day for me.”

The Indian pacer is currently spending some off time with his family. Moreover, he is likely to be rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
