In the third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders are hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. While it was Pat Cummins-led SRH who won the toss and opted to field first, the visitors had a quick start with Philip Salt to three back-to-back sixes.
But in the fourth over of the Kolkata inning, it was T Natarajan who announced his comeback in style. The Indian pacer dismissed Venkatesh Iyer with Marco Jansen completing a brilliant catch, he completed his 50th wicket as he went on to dismiss on the fifth delivery of the same over.
Iyer, who took the field after Venkatesh Iyer departed having scored only five runs off seven deliveries, was sent back to the pavilion after playing two balls, courtesy a brilliant catch at mid-off by Pat Cummins. The Aussie captain leaped full length to his left to complete a wonderous catch over his head, video of which is going viral.

After inviting DC to put the score first on the board, the Rishabh Pant-led side posted 174 runs in their stipulated 20 overs. But a brilliant fifty from Sam Curran and some hard hitting from Liam Livingstone helped the side register a comfortable win.
