After making a shock return to the WWE’s commentary booth for the Royal Rumble PLE, Pat McAfee found himself in the 30-men match to the surprise of fans and himself. But, after assessing his chances inside the ring while looking at Bron Breakker and Omos, he thought better of it, hilariously eliminating himself from the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Pat McAfee was drawn No. 22 in the WWE men’s Royal Rumble match, and when his music hit, he made his way from the announce desk to the ring in a begrudgingly manner. The American sports analyst stayed inside the squared circle for 38 seconds, and during that time, the physical specimen in Bron Breakker and the 7-foot-3 giant Omos stared a hole through him.

It ultimately led to Pat McAfee slowly walking over the top rope from one of the turnbuckle sides before eliminating himself from the WWE men’s Royal Rumble match. Upon returning to the commentary booth, he shouted, “How big is that thing in there?” for Omos.
Notably, Cody Rhodes won the WWE men’s Royal Rumble match after eliminating CM Punk, going back-to-back after Stone Cold Steve Austin did it during the attitude era. Moments after his triumph, the American Nightmare pointed at the sky box in the Tropicana Field where the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was seated, signalling his intention to challenge him for the title once again in the main event of WrestleMania.
