Following no official ceremony by Paris Saint Germain (PSG) to commemorate superstar Kylian Mbappe’s final game at Parc des Princes, the PSG ultras stepped up to pay their tribute to the French superstar on his last home game. The 25-year-old forward is set to part ways with the France-based club following the 2023-24 season and received a mixed reaction from the PSG fans.
Mbappe, who took the field at the iconic stadium for one last time against Toulouse, stated in his farewell speech, “It’s a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club, one of the best in the world, which allowed me to arrive here, to have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure and to grow as a player of course by being alongside some of the best in history.”
The PSG ultras paid their respect to the French forward, who has won six league titles for them. They unfurled a large Tifo of Mbappe, who has scored 255 goals for the club in 306 outings. While there was a huge roar from Mbappe supporters in the stands, a separate section of fans booed the outgoing miraculous man.
