Afghan spinner Rashid Khan is one of the most prolific turners in the world of cricket. The talented leggy is regarded as hot property due to his ability to take consistent wickets especially in shortest format of cricket.
Khan is currently leading MI Cape Towns in the ongoing SA20 and with three wins in six games, his team is well placed at third position in six-team competition. Meanwhile, Rashid added yet another feather to his cap on Monday as he completed 500 wickets in T20 format during ongoing match between MI Cape Town and Pretoria Capitals.
Rashid's 500th wicket came in the form of Rilee Rossouw as the Cape Town skipper trapped the batter plumb in front in the 9th over of the 1st innings.
Watch here:
While Rossouw was Khan’s 500th wicket in the T20 format and second of the match, he improved his figures by taking yet another wicket as he bowled Clyde Fortuin in his next over. With that wicket, Khan has now 501 wickets in the T20 format.
