For the unversed, South Delhi Superstarz put Purani Dilli 6 into bat first after their captain Ayush Badoni won the toss at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. PD6 were quite impressive in putting a big total of 197/3 in their allotted overs with Arprit Rana scoring a fifty, while Rishabh Pant was slow off the box, but he eventually managed to get 35 off 32.

The top three of South Delhi Superstarz was quite rampant in pursuit of the 198-run target with the openers Priyansh Arya and Sarthak Ray putting up an opening stand of 87 runs on the board. The captain Ayush Badoni had a 65-run partnership for the second wicket with Priyansh Arya, to put SDS in a commanding position with both the batters scoring a fifty.

But a sudden collapse left South Delhi Superstarz struggling at 183/7 with just a couple of overs left in the match. A couple of boundaries from Vision Panchal settled the match in favour of SDS with three wickets in hand but not before Rishabh Pant tried his hand at bowling leg spin for Purani Dilli 6 in the final over of the match.
