The Indian cricket team is currently clashing against West Indies in a multi-format series, displayed a brilliant skillset, and took control of the game right from the first day. Rohit Sharma's side, who had a disheartening ending to the past two WTC cycles, have high hopes for the ongoing series, and the game on day 1 of the series spoke for it. Meanwhile, a video has gone viral from India’s innings where the skipper could be heard using cuss words after getting hit by the ball.
The Test series between West Indies and India kicked off on July 12 at Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica. The hosts won the toss in the first Test match and invited the visiting country to field first.
The Indian men took the steering in their hands, dominating their rivals with the ball, where Ashwin’s five-wicket along with Ravindra Jadeja’s three-wicket hauls ended the Caribbean innings at 150. Coming to chase the score, Rohit Sharma and debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the innings, and by the end of the day, pulled up a score of 80 runs in 23 overs, without any loss.
Meanwhile, a video has been doing rounds on social media, where the Indian skipper could be heard saying, “B***C***” after getting hit by a Alzarri Joseph delivery.

Sharma was on the crease in the eighth over, when the team’s score was 32 when delivery by Joseph hit Sharma’s right foot to reach the boundary. The video went viral on social media, garnering attention from cricket followers across the country.
On the first day of the series, World’s number 1 bowler Ravichandran Ashwin became the third Indian to cross the 700-wicket mark in international cricket. Not only this but after dismissing WI opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul, he also became the first Indian bowler to dismiss father and son in Test cricket.
