Michael Hussey reflects on Rohit Sharma’s reaction after Jaiswal drops him
Former Australia cricketer Michael Hussey could not hold back and reflected on Rohit Sharma’s reaction after Jaiswal dropped Labuschagne on Day 4. “I don’t like that reaction from the Indian skipper. I know he’s emotional and he desperately wants wickets but you’re the one that has to send the message of calm and support,” Hussey said while commentating on air.
“No one means to drop a catch. He’ll feel bad enough as it is for putting a catch down, particularly someone like Marnus Labuschagne. It happens quickly – it’s in, it’s out. You don't need to see that as a young player,” he added.
