During the second episode of the newly launched The Great Indian Kapil Show, when Kapil Sharma asked Rohit Sharma about which Indian players he would never look forward to sharing a room with. In response, the Indian captain stated that while they get single rooms nowadays, he wouldn’t want to share them with Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan.

Streaming in India on the Netflix platform, The Great Indian Kapil Show is a laugh-out-loud variety talk show, involving the comedian Kapil Sharma, his support cast, and celebrity guests. In the latest episode of the show, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and his teammate Shreyas Iyer were the celebrity guests, and they had quite a fun time.

During the “Pol-Khol” segment, the host Kapil Sharma put up a question to both the Indian cricketers, asking, “Kaun sa player hai jiske sath aap kabhi bhi room share nahi karna chahoge aur kyu (Which is the player with whom you will never desire to share a room with and why).” Rohit Sharma responded, “Abhi sabko single room milta hai na toh abhi share karne ki baat nahi (Now, we all get a single room so there is no talk about sharing it).”

“But agar share karne ka mauka miley toh main toh, do log hai, ek hai Shikhar Dhawan aur ek hai Rishabh Pant, nahi karna chahunga, bhai maaf (But if there is a chance of sharing rooms, then there are two people, one is Shikhar Dhawan and other one is Rishabh Pant, with whom I won’t want to share a room with, brother sorry),” he added.

Rohit Sharma also disclosed the reason why he wouldn’t want to share a room with Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant, calling them out for their untidiness in terms of managing themselves and their rooms.
