The American professional boxer, Ryan Garcia, who is facing a controversial cheating allegation in the USA, flew halfway across the world and witnessed Cristiano Ronaldo play for Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After the completion of the marquee Saudi Pro League contest at 1-1, Ryan Garcia also met with Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
Ryan Garcia is in Saudi Arabia to watch Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk fight inside the squared circle at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, for the undisputed world heavyweight championship title on Saturday, May 18. It has also been said that the 25-year-old might be looking to negotiate a future boxing match with the promoter Turki Alalshikh.
In one of the latest posts on his official X account, Ryan Garcia sent out a picture and a video of meeting Cristiano Ronaldo Jr in Saudi Arabia. He captioned the post, “Let’s go. Pave your own way. You got it in you.”
Notably, Ryan Garcia got tested for a banned substance Ostarine after winning against Devin Haney in a lightweight boxing match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last month. It led to Haney formally requesting the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) to disqualify Garcia and award the win to him, claiming that his opponent used PEDs, prohibited IVs, and admitted to fighting overweight to gain an unfair advantage.
After his failed drug test, Ryan Garcia requested that his B-sample be tested, the result of which is still pending.
