Rajasthan Royals pacer Sandeep Sharma pulled off the catch of the season to dismiss Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav. Chasing a massive total of 213 runs, SKY emerged as a top performer for the five-time champions as he scored a stunning half-century in just 24 balls.
But as the match neared its end, Yadav attempted to increase the scoring rate in the 16th over. As MI had failed to score a boundary in the first three balls of the over, SKY attempted a ramp shot over short fine. The ball stayed in the air longer than usual.
Sandeep Sharma, after spotting the ball, sprinted back from his position and threw in a full-stretch dive. Perfectly timing his attempt, Sharma held onto one of the best catches of the tournament and sent back an in-form Suryakumar Yadav at the score of 55(29).

But this match-stunning catch wasn't enough for the Rajasthan Royals as Tim David hit three sixes in the final over to help Mumbai Indians win the game by six wickets. Reacting to the performance, Tim David thanked MI fans in the Wankhede stadium for their undying support.
He said, "We needed a result. It is an amazing feeling, there's no better feeling than playing at the Wankhede. For our confidence. We have not played our best cricket in the last few games, so this feels good. It felt everyone (bowler) had to be targeted, and good batting conditions and personally I wanted to do something like this for a while. It was sweaty, I was trying to get down the pitch and cut the angle. Any time the bowlers missed the yorker then you were in with a chance."
