On Friday, November 15, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma brought up their second T20I hundred in the fourth and final match of the series against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, to put India in a great position. Both Samson and Varma celebrated the big moment in style in front of thousands of fans in attendance, who were in awe of the amazing display of batting that pulverised the South African bowlers.
The Indian batting lineup went on a rampage after the captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bat first at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. After Abhishek Sharma (36 off 18) and Sanju Samson stitched together an opening stand of 73-run runs, Tilak Varma joined in on the fun with his scintillating stroke play from the get-go against the pacers and the spinners alike.

Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma stitched together an unbeaten stand of 210 runs within just 15 overs, bringing up their second hundred of the four-match T20I series against South Africa. While Samson scored unbeaten 109 runs off 56 balls, which included six fours and nine maximums, his partner at the other end, Varma, got past him with 120 runs off just 47 balls with nine fours and 10 maximums, to help India reach 283/1, their second highest total in the T20I format.
