After scoring his maiden international century in August this year, Shubman Gill scored his first Test century in the first Test against Bangladesh. Shubman, who was included in the Playing XI after Rohit Sharma was ruled out, grabbed the opportunity with both hands as he completed his maiden Test century in just 147 balls.
Shubman reached the milestone with a four straight down the ground. After reaching the three figures, the youngster bowed down and appreciated the crowd's applause.

Gill, Pujara help Team India take big lead
Team India started the Day 3 well after they took the final two wickets of Bangladesh and bundled out the hosts of 150. KL Rahul and Co. decided against giving a follow-on and came out to bat. While Rahul scored 23, Gill and Pujara's brilliant partnership took the game out of Bangladesh's hand.
Team India have taken the lead of over 500 and the declaration is set to come from the Indian skipper after the century of Pujara who is currently batting on 96.
