The four-time NBA champion, Stephen Curry displayed a clutch performance as the Golden State Warriors won their preseason game against the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center by 116-115 on Thursday morning. The 35-year-old point guard hit his iconic 'Night Night' celebration after scoring eight straight points in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to help the Warriors beat the Kings by one point.

Steph Curry ended with 30 points including seven 3-pointers, and registered five assists and four rebounds against Sacramento. The Warriors guard scored 55.6% (10-18 FG) from the field and 66.7% (8-12 3P) three-point shooting. Curry scored 16 points in the fourth quarter and eight straight points to win the game for the Warriors.

With around 1 minute left into the final whistle, Steph hit a clutch post fadeaway to close the gap between the Warriors and the Kings to a two-point lead for the latter. Steph received a pass from new member Chris Paul and scored a fadeaway against Kings guard Kevin Huerter.

In response, the Kings hit a two-pointer to extend their lead to four points with just less than a minute remaining into the game. Steph scored a clutch three-pointer to close the point difference between the two sides to one point.

After Curry's clutch three-pointer, the Kings scored one point to take a two-point lead as the scoreboard read 115-113 in Sacramento's favor. However, Curry had a different mindset, and with less than 11 seconds remaining, the two-time NBA MVP scored a game-winning shot from beyond the arc as the Warriors won the match 116-115.

After winning the game for the Warriors, Steph Curry hit his famous 'Night Night' celebration while walking off the court to the home crowd's delight.

The Warriors will next host the 2023 No.1 draft pick, Victor Wembanyama, and the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center in their final NBA preseason game on Friday, October 20. In the regular season, Curry and the Warriors will begin their 2023-24 campaign against Kevin Durant's Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, October 24 at the Chase Center.
