Stephen Curry is currently away from basketball and is enjoying his break, playing golf at the American Century golf tournament. The Warriors point guard took his time to impress his fans there, by showing off his basketball shooting skills. Curry grabbed up the ball and launched a shot over the attendees, which resulted in a made basket that was set quite a distance away from him.

Nevada, United States hosts the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf competition. The Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada, near Lake Tahoe, hosts it during the second full week of July. The multiple winners of the event are Rick Rhoden (8), Dan Quinn (5), Billy Joe Tolliver (4), Mark Mulder (3), Tony Romo (3), Jack Wagner (2), and Mark Rypien (2). Actor Wagner is the only non-professional athlete to have won the event, and Mulder is the only one to win three consecutive titles.

The point guard made a long-range shot during his practice round on Thursday after picking up a basketball next to one of the tee boxes. Naturally, he was successful on the first try. He performed JR Smith, a former NBA sharpshooter,'s signature celebration, dropping to one knee and raising three fingers from each hand.

The 35-year-old has had more time to play in golf competitions this summer, which has been fantastic for him. Steph has made it known that he likes to unwind by playing golf. Even during his break, the Warriors superstar is still associated with basketball, so he can't seem to get away from the sport.
