There is so much emotion and passion involved in each game of cricket in the Indian Premier League. Despite it being a packed cricket season, no team could afford to take their feet off the intensity levels as the nature of the tournament is so competitive. However, sometimes it may lead to a sudden outburst of emotion.
Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting had one of those moments when he was not pleased with the umpire's call of it being a fair delivery. In the penultimate over of the innings, Umesh Yadav bowled one ball wide outside off which was deemed a fair ball but Ponting thought it should have been given wide and immediately decided to have a word with the umpire who was standing outside the area of play.

Talking about the Delhi innings, while half-centuries from their openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner had set a great stage for them at the Brabourne Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders had managed to fight back in the middle overs. However, in the end, Shardul Thakur came ahead of Sarfaraz Khan and played a wonderful cameo worth 29 off 11 deliveries to take DC past 200 and eventually help them post 215.
The Delhi batters scored 39 off the last two overs along to reach the score.
