Kannada actress Varsha Bollamma expressed her desire to see Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli lift an Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy for once in her lifetime. In an event, she said that she started watching IPL only because of the Indian stalwart and wished to see him lifting that elusive cup that has eluded him for 16 seasons.
In the viral video on social media, the Kannada actress was seen showcasing her fangirl moment for Virat and saying, “Virat Kohli holding that cup, that is it….I started watching IPL for him. That is my only dream, and….E sala…this time he will.”
It is a well-known fact that despite being a star-studded team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have failed to hold the IPL silverware and it is often trolled for that reason. However, despite disappointing their fans every season, the fandom RCB hold is massive.
Virat Kohli will once again rue for the IPL trophy in the IPL 2024 when they will start their campaign in the IPL opener against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on March 22. Virat is also the leading run-getter in IPL history with 7263 runs, scoring seven centuries.
