Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was seen attending Krishna Das Kirtan along with wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma in Mumba i on Sunday, October 20. After the end of the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru, Kohli flew back to Mumbai where he attended the spiritual event with his wife on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Notably, India suffered a crushing 8-wicket defeat against New Zealand and are down by 0-1 in the three-match Test series. 

Ahead of the second Test against New Zealand in Pune Starting on October 24, Virat Kohli is currently in Mumbai with Anushka Sharma. In a viral video shared on social media, the couple was seen getting deeply involved in the event and enjoying the kirtan. Kohli was seen wearing green sweatshirt and blue denims while Anushka was dressed in a white co-ord set. 

Virat Kohli completes 9000 Test runs

India didn’t have a great outing in the first Test against New Zealand as the hosts were bowled out for just 46 runs in the first innings. However, India made a comeback in the second innings but could only set a target of 107 for New Zealand. Despite India’s loss, it turned out to be a memorable Test match for Virat Kohli as the right-hander completed the milestone of 9000 runs  in the longest format for India. 

After getting out on a duck in the first innings, Virat Kohli went on to score a half-century in the second innings. The right-hander scored 70 runs off 102 balls with eight fours and one six. Scoring his 53rd run in the innings, Kohli touch the milestone of 9000 runs for India. He is now fourth batter from the country after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sunil Gavaskar to cross 9000 runs in the longest format. Kohli has now 9017 runs from 116 Test matches of his career so far.
