The match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore was a complete entertainer which continued even after Bangalore’s win over the hosts. After Faf du Plessis’ side posted 126 on the board in their 20 overs, LSG fell just 18 runs short to reach the target during the chase.
The chase however was all about drama. While Virat Kohli was seen celebrating with animated gestures during the course of the match, he even got involved into a heated exchange with two of the LSG players in the middle. While one was Amit Mishra, the other was Afghanistan player Naveen-ul-Haq.

While the reason on the on-field exchange is not known , the fight continued post-match . As the players lined up for a handshake, the 23-year-old Afghan cricketer was seen pushing Kohli with Maxwell and Harshal Patel, who were right behind Kohli intervened to separate the two players.

In another clip which is going viral, Naveen ul Haq was seen walking past Kohli and KL Rahul, who were discussing the situation . With a lot of members of the support staff surrounding these players, it looked that KL & Kohli wanted to sort this conversation, but the Afghan international walked past, looking to not speak.

Talking of the match, Virat Kohli added 31 runs to the total of 126 and also took two catches in the match against LSG. The Faf du Plessis-led side will now play against bottom-placed Delhi Capitals on May 6 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
