The Eliminator match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) saw an interruption when one of the spectators stepped inside the ground. A young man was seen running around the pitch while ground security personnel chased him.
He also tried meeting Virat Kohli who was fielding near the boundary. However, the RCB batter gestured to the fan to not come closer which he obliged and stopped at a distance from Kohli. And then the security personnel also got a chance to catch the invader. But the way he was taken out by one of the security personnel left Kohli and the crowd in splits.
After the young man was caught, one of the guards carried him on his shoulder to take him out of the ground. Virat Kohli who was watching all of this from a distance could not control his laughter. The RCB player was also seen imitating the policeman in the way he lifted the man on his shoulders.

RCB through to Qualifier 2
Meanwhile, it was a thrilling battle between Lucknow and Bangalore in the Eliminator. RCB did a great job to post 207/4 in their 20 overs, all thanks to Rajat Patidar who played a match-winning inning of 112* off just 54 balls. Dinesh Karthik also chipped in with a crucial 37* (23). For Lucknow, captain KL Rahul (79 off 58) and Deepak Hooda (45 off 26) kept the hopes alive. But a brilliant show from Josh Hazlewood (4-0-43-3) and Harshal Patel (4-0-25-1) sealed the deal for RCB.
With 41 required off the last three overs and KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis looking to go big, Patel and Hazlewood bowled some excellent deliveries to keep LSG batters devoid of runs. While Harshal Patel outfoxed Stoinis and got him caught out at sweeper cover, Hazlewood got the big wicket of KL Rahul in the penultimate over. In the end, Patel helped RCB win by 14 runs.
