Virat Kohli was spotted dancing inside the dressing room after his team Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) notable 50-run win against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. RCB won their first game at Chepauk against Chennai, for the first time since 2008. In the big game, Rajat Patidar stepped up and led his team from the front. Patidar also got the player of the match (POTM) for his stunning 51-run innings off 32 balls. Josh Hazlewood also picked up a three-wicket haul and made an essential contribution to the team.

Following the success against the Yellow Army, RCB players couldn’t hold their excitement and celebrated the victory. Kohli led the celebrations as he danced on Humankind's 'Run It Up' song. The 36-year-old was seen grooving at the same track after reaching the hotel, as well. He was accompanied by his teammates Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Lungi Ngidi. RCB posted the video of the celebrations on their X handle and wrote, "A win so special, it got King Kohli grooving. This team! The vibes! We’re loving it."

Kohli will be expected to regain his rhythm against Gujarat Titans

Kohli put up a disheartening batting show against CSK, scoring lethargic 31 runs after consuming 30 deliveries. In RCB’s next home encounter against Gujarat Titans (GT), the batting legend will have to produce a solid innings. The right-handed batter’s record is sensational against GT, as he has racked up 344 runs in five matches with three fifties and a ton that came in 2023 in Bengaluru.

Before travelling to Bengaluru, GT will host the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI) at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. Under Shubman Gill, the Titans kicked off their campaign with a 11-run loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS), at the home ground.
