India are having a dream run at the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, having won all five games in the tournament so far. But ahead of their match against the reigning champions, England, the players were seen rolling their arms in the net sessions.

However, the side has missed fast bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who injured his ankle in match against Bangladesh, other players, including the likes of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav. The players tried their luck in the net session in Lucknow on October 26.

The official handle of the Indian cricket team also shared the video of players trying to bowl with the caption reading, “Everybody wanted to be a bowler at training yesterday. Everyone trying their ‘Luck’ now isn’t it.”

Virat Kohli bowls to Rohit Sharma in net practice

Virat Kohli, who has been in scintillating form at the ongoing Cricket World Cup was also seen bowling to skipper Rohit Sharma. Video of the same is doing rounds on social media.

Notably, Virat Kohli’s knock of 95 off 104 deliveries helped the side register a comfortable win against New Zealand at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. In this knock, he smashed eight boundaries and two sixes at the strike rate of 91.35.
