After conquering the world at the World Athletics Championship, Italy’s Gianmarco Tamberi was at the Italian Grand Prix to show off his jumping skills again. Ahead of the race, Tamberi jumped over a horizontally placed real-life Formula 1 car on the track.

The Italian Open is the 15th race of the 2023 Formula 1 Season, which has been a thrilling encounter. The race is taking place at the prestigious Autodromo Nazionale Monza track. Ahead of the race, the world champion jumped across the car to the delight of the spectators at the track.

The Italian athlete made headlines after his heroics at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. The current Olympic champion won the event after clearing 2.36 metres, setting a new world record. JuVaughn Harrison of the USA placed second on countback despite clearing the same height. Despite winning the Olympic title, Tamberi had never won a World Championship, coming in fourth place in his most recent competition at Oregon 22.
He also interacted with India’s golden boy, Neeraj Chopra, at the recently concluded Diamond League event in Zurich. Chopra had some fun with Italian high jumper Gianmarco Tamberi while practising for the javelin event and shared a video on social media.
