The Indian opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a highly impressive hundred against England, celebrating the big moment in style in front of the roaring fans in Rajkot. After India secured a 126-run first-innings lead, he took control of the Indian second innings in the final session, putting them in a dominant position on Day 3 of the third Test.

Yashasvi Jaiswal cautiously started his innings, giving ample respect to the English bowlers, who were bowling decent lines and lengths with the new ball. His opening partner, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket for just 19 off 28 with the scorecard reading 30/1 in the 12th over.

After joining Yashasvi Jaiswal in the middle, Shubman Gill took the cue from the Indian openers, playing defensively, especially following his duck in the first innings. But, when Yashasvi Jaiswal managed to get his timing and rhythm at the crease, he quickly shifted gears, bringing out the attacking strokes to put the pressure back on the English bowlers.  Check the top betting trends on the best betting apps in India  and websites.

The approach from Jaiswal helped Gill settle into his role of the accumulator in the innings, and they registered a three-figure stand between them for the second wicket shortly after. Ultimately, Yashasvi Jaiswal notched up his second hundred of the five-match series against England, celebrating the big moment in style at the Niranjan Shah Stadium.
