Argentina’s World Cup winner Lionel Messi continues his dream run in the USA after carrying Inter Miami to the Leagues Cup final. With his magical goals and incredible skills, Messi Mania has engulfed America as fans have gone crazy for the ex-Paris Saint Germain star. In one such incident, a young fan rushed on the field during Inter Miami’s game against Philadelphia Union in an attempt to click a selfie with Messi.

In a video that has been making the rounds of the internet, this young fan runs half-way across the field in a quest for a priced picture with the FC Barcelona great but is immediately blocked away by security. The young boy is seen pleading for a selfie while a concerned Messi tries to help the fan before he is ushered away.

Talking about the match, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner showed off his class with a long range worldie to double Inter Miami’s lead in the 20th minute. After Josef Martinez found the back of the net in just three minutes, Messi was seen pulling strings as the Flamingos were all over Philadelphia.
Soon the Argentine forward received the ball at the center of the pitch after an Martinez through ball and took a low-lying shot from 36 yards out which zoomed on the pitch and beat Philadelphia Union keeper Andre Blake on the far post. Soon with goals from fellow Barcelona star Jordi Alba and midfielder David Ruiz, Inter Miami sealed the finals berth with a 4-1 win.
