Amidst the reports of France’s superstar, Kylian Mbappe’s possible trade to Arsenal after the PSG star told his club that he will be leaving as a free agent next season, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta gave a profound reply to the reporters when asked about the possibility of the 25-year-old forward playing for the Premier League club next season.
Before their match against Burnley, Arteta talked about the caliber of Mbappe and the continuous conversation with him. But said, it looks differently. “When there is a player of that caliber we always have to be in the conversation, but it looks in a different way,” clarified Arteta.
While asked about Arsenal's involvement in any discussion with Mbappe, the Gunners boss replied, “I am not! Maybe Edu [the sporting director] and the owners are, but I am not in those conversations until the last stage.”
