Windies Cricket (Cricket West Indies) have announced their 13-man squad for the upcoming second Test against India. The West Indies cricket board has made a slight change as Kevin Sinclair has earned a maiden call-up for the second and final Test of the two-match Test series. West Indies is set to host India in the second Test, starting July 20 at the Queen’s Oval Park in Trinidad.

Furthermore, Kevin Sinclair has replaced all-rounder Raymon Reifer for the next Test. The Caribbean all-rounder failed to score big with the bat as he was dismissed at the scores of 2 and 11 in the 1 st Test and failed to perform with the ball, ending with figures of 0/16 in his four-over spell.

The hosts did not have a likely outing in the first Test of the series as they were handed defeat by an inning and 141 runs. After winning the toss, Kraigg Brathwaite-led side were bundled out at the score of 150 in 64.3 overs, courtsey R Ashwin five-wicket haul (5/60) along with R Jadeja also registering figures of 3/26 in his 14-over spell. However, on the back of maiden Test century on debut by Yashasvi Jaiswal and a ton from skipper Rohit Sharma helped the side post 421/5 during their stint in the middle before the skipper declared the inning.
The hosts could not perform thereafter with the bat as they were again bundled out for the score of 130, thus losing the match and the visitors taking a 1-0 lead.
