After the completion of the Women's Big Bash League 2023, the Big Bash League 2023-24 is scheduled to commence on Thursday while the Abu Dhabi T10 league is ongoing and the Legends League Cricket has entered its playoff stages. Indian women's team also began their three-match T20I series against England followed by their one-off Test series.

  • Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Stars: The reigning BBL runners-up, Brisbane Heat are scheduled to square off against the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League 2023-24 opener on Thursday. The match is scheduled to take place at the  Brisbane Cricket Ground in Woolloongabba, Brisbane at 01:45 p.m. IST.   • Bangla Tigers vs Chennai Braves: In Match 26th of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Benny Howell's Bangla Tigers are scheduled to square off against Charith Asalanka-led Chennai Braves at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 05:00 p.m. IST. While the Tigers are placed fifth in the points table with three wins and losses each in six games, the Braves are placed seventh with two wins from six games.
  • Team Abu Dhabi vs Delhi Bulls:  Dwaine Pretorius-led Team Abu Dhabi will face Rovman Powell's Delhi Bulls at the  Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the 27th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The match between the fourth-placed, Delhi Bulls and the bottom-placed Team Abu Dhabi will take place on Thursday at 07:30 p.m. IST.
  • New York Strikers vs Morrisville Samp Army:  In Match 28th of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Kieron Pollard-led New York Strikers will take on Moeen Ali's Morrisville Samp Army at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium at 10:00 p.m. IST. In the points table, the Strikers and the Samp Army are placed in the top two places with five wins in six matches, however, the Strikers lead the standings with a better net run rate.

Legends League Cricket 2023 - Qualifier 2

  • India Capitals vs Manipal Tigers: Gautam Gambhir's India Capitals eliminated Parthiv Patel's Gujarat Giants on Wednesday and will now face Harbhajan Singh's Manipal Tigers, who lost the Qualifier 1 against the Urbanrisers Hyderabad. The Qualifier 2 between the Capitals and the Giants will take place at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on Wednesday, December 6 at 06:30 p.m. IST. The winner between the two will face the Urbanrisers in the LLC 2023 final.

Nat Sciver-Brunt powers England to 38-run win against India Women

The England Women's team registered a dominant 38-run win against India in the first T20I in the three-match series. For the Lionesses, Nat Sciver-Brunt starred with an all-round performance as she helped England post the massive 196-run total and then picked up Smriti Mandhana's wicket with the ball. The victory also comes just days after the England A team clinched the three-game series against India A.

LLC 2023: India Capitals eliminated Gujarat Giants to face Manipal Tigers in Qualifier 2

Gautam Gambhir-led India Capitals defeated Parthiv Patel's Gujarat Giants despite  Chris Gayle's 84-off-55 inning on Wednesday. The Capitals skipper (51) scored the highest runs for his team, however,  Bharat Chipli (35-off-16) and Ben Dunk's (30-off-10) cameos helped their side to register 223 runs on the board with a loss of seven wickets. Despite Gayle and  Kevin O'Brien's (57-off-33) hard-fought innings, the Giants failed to reach the target in 20 overs as the Capitals won the match by 12 runs.

Famous Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle slammed a leading Indian finance company for harassing his family over texts, messages, and even bot calls. Bhogle is one of the finest names to be commentating in Indian cricket. The 61-year-old journalist is known for his straightforward comments on the game of cricket. The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is all set to finally open on January 22, 2024, which has been confirmed as the date for consecration, also known as the pran pratisththa ceremony of the idol of the deity, Lord Ram at the temple. Bangladesh are taking on New Zealand in the second Test of the two-match Test series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. While the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side won the toss and opted to bat first, they put 137/7 in 55 overs. However, in the 41st over of the Bangladesh inning, Mushfiqur Rahim achieved a rare feat while batting. The wicketkeeper-batter who was batting at 35 off 83 balls, became the first Bangladeshi player to be dismissed for handling the ball.
