England completed a historic turnaround to beat India by 28 runs in the first Test of the five-match series. Then it was an incredible seven-wicket spell by Tom Hartley to help the visitors clinch the game.

Shamar Joseph's 7-wicket haul helps West Indies register historic win over Australia

West Indies defeated Australia by eight runs for the first time in 27 years in Tests. Shamar Joseph picked seven wickets to guide his side to a historic win over Pat Cummins' side at the fortress Gabba. Batting first, West Indies put 311 runs and compelled the home side to surrender at 289. In the second innings, despite scoring only 193, the Windies won the game by eight runs.

ICC lifts ban on Sri Lanka Cricket with immediate effect

After suspending the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on 10 November 2023 for violation of responsibilities as an ICC Member, in particular, "the requirement to manage its affairs autonomously and ensure that there is no government interference in the governance, regulation and/or administration of cricket in Sri Lanka", ICC on Sunday lifted the ban over the cricket body. The ICC in its statement said, “The ICC Board has been monitoring the situation since the suspension and are now satisfied that SLC are no longer in breach of membership obligations.  

India slip to fifth place in WTC 2023-25 standings after 28-run loss

After heartbreaking 28-run loss against England in the opening Test of the five-match series, India dropped to fifth place with a 43.33 per cent.
