The Hyderabad police filed an FIR against former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin over allegations of misappropriation of funds from the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). Apart from Azharuddin, some former office bearers also had the case filed against them at the Uppal Police Station in Hyderabad, police said on Thursday. However, the 60-year-old former cricketer and current politician turned down the allegations against him by terming them 'false' and 'motivated allegations' on X.
