On Monday, June 12, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Tushar Deshpande got engaged to his school crush and longtime girlfriend Nabha Gaddamwar. The cricketer himself shared the update of his life via a post on social media.
In the post, The CSK bowler revealed that the two were classmates in school and will soon tie a knot. The 28-year-old Indian cricketer shared several pictures from the intimate ceremony where the couple exchanged the rings and captioned it, “ 𝟭𝟮.𝟬𝟲.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 She got promoted from my school crush to MY FIANCÉ! 😱🥰🥳❤️ #onelove #engaged #dreamscometrue”.
It is to be noted that Nabha Gaddamwar is a teacher who specializes in Indian Arts. According to sources, she was born in Kalyan, a town in Maharashtra's Thane district. She completed her 12th class in Mumbai and her 10th in Kalyan. She also has a Diploma in Arts Education. Nabha later started teaching arts in a number of schools. Nabha, who is set to tie the know with the Indian cricketer, also sells her hand-painted paintings and murals through her Instagram handle which runs by the name ‘Painted Palette’.

Talking about the CSK bowler, Tushar Deshpande was picked by Chennai Super Kings for his base price of INR 20 Lakh in the 2022 IPL Auction. While he got to play just two games in the 2022 season, Deshpande bounced back strongly in the 2023 season and spearheaded the CSK bowling attack in the absence of Deepak Chahar and Kyle Jamieson. He played all the 16 games for CSK and emerged as the highest wicket-taker for the team which went on to win the title. The 28-year-old was also the sixth highest wicket taker in the tournament overall.
