Zeeshan Ansari, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowler, announced his arrival on the big stage in style during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match against delhi Capitals at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Zeeshan, who came in the XI as the only change in their lineup from the previous match, was introduced into the attack in the eighth over.

While he conceded eight runs off his first over with Jake Fraser-McGurk hitting him for a four, he bounced back in his next over, picking a crucial wicket of DC opener Faf du Plessis, who departed having scored a half century off 27 deliveries. On the final delivery of the same over, the leg-break googly bowler dismissed Jake Fraser-McGurk.

This wasn’t it as the 25-year-old then went on to clean up Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul on the second delivery of his third over. In his four-over spell, the youngster finished with the figures of 3/42.
