It is going to be a repeat of 2024 final as Kolkata Knight Riders take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in match number 15 of IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens. Both the teams are coming after losing their previous games and will look to get back on the winning track. Ahead of the match, SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and asked KKR to bat first.

The major change in the KKR’s lineup is that fast bowler Spencer Johnson hasn’t been included in the playing XI against SRH. In his place, spin bowler Moeen Ali made it to the playing XI again after missing the last game against Mumbai Indians. “Moeen Ali comes in place of Spencer Johnson,” KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane said at the toss.

Kamindu Menidis makes IPL debut, Simarjeet Singh back in SRH lineup

Talking about SRH, they have also made couple of chances in their playing XI as fast bowler Simarjeet Singh is back in the playing XI against KKR. Along with him, Kamindu Mendis has also been included in the lineup as the Sri Lankan batter finally got the chance to make his IPL debut. The 26-year-old was picked by SRH for INR 75 lakhs in the mega auction last year.
