Wolves have reportedly expressed serious interest in signing English winger Jadon Sancho, 25, from Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window. With that, the West Midlands club has emerged as a surprise contender to bring in Jadon Sancho next season, who is currently playing for Chelsea on loan, especially after their key players including Matheus Cunha expected to depart in the summer for greener pastures.

Notably, as per the report from Football Transfers, Wolves have identified Jadon Sancho as a valuable addition to their attacking lineup in case the aforementioned Brazilian striker leaves. Apart from the likes of Matheus Cunha, left-back Ryan Ait-Nouri could also be in line to move away from the Molineux, but since these two players have a lot of value in the transfer market, they could generate big funds for the club in the summer.

Jadon Sancho has struggled immensly after arriving to Premier League four years ago

As a result of this, Wolves could leap ahead in the pecking order in the Premier League under Vitor Pereira by smartly investing the money into bolstering their squad without causing any financial issues in the process. Jadon Sancho, who hasn’t had much game time apart from being inconsistent in the Premier League after leaving Borussia Dortmund four years ago, might be the perfect foil for Wolves, and it could be the case other way around as well.

Since Manchester United, managed by Ruben Amorim, have no reported interest in working with Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford the next season, Wolves could have the opportunity to sign him on a reasonable deal. It is more so since Chelsea are looking to either go through or terminate their obligation to buy the English winger after bringing him to Stamford Bridge on loan from Manchester United last summer.
