Australia defeated India in the second edition of the World Test Championship, with the help of brilliant centuries from Travis Head and Steven Smith in the first innings. India's decision to exclude Ravichandran Ashwin and the skipper Rohit Sharma's decision to bowl first has come under severe criticism after a huge 209-run loss against Australia. Indian team ended up failing despite a glorious knock from Ajinkya Rahane as the rest of the batters didn't step up when their team needed the most.
