The clash between India and Pakistan is perhaps the most awaited game in cricket. As both teams don't play many games of cricket together, fans get a chance to see them locking horns only in ICC tournaments. One such chance will be up for grabs when both teams meet on 23rd October at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. While not many would have the chance to watch the T20 World Cup from the ground, cricket fans residing in Melbourne and nearby areas should be able to watch it as ICC has made the tickets live.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday made the sale of tickets for all the games of the 2022 T20 World Cup live for the general public. It also included the India-Pakistan game. However, it could not stay live for a long time as all the tickets for the game were sold within minutes.

Here is a screengrab of the message users are getting when trying to book India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2022 match tickets on the official website tickets.t20worldcup.com.

It tells the story about the popularity of the India-Pakistan game. However, it is equally disappointing for the fans who missed a chance to witness the action from the ground. But rather than rueing on the missed chance, Indian fans should look to buy the tickets for the rest of India's fixtures.

India to play South Africa on 30 October

After locking horns with Pakistan, the Indian team will face Group A Runner up on 27 October. Post that, the Rohit Sharma-led team will be up against South Africa who are placed in the same group as India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh. India's next group game will be against Bangladesh on 2 November and the final game will be against Group B Winner on 6th November. So, the Indian fans still have plenty of games left to enjoy from the ground.

India seek revenge against Pakistan

India's winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup games was broken after the Men in Green beat Men in Blue in the group stage game of the 2021 T20 World Cup. The Babar Azam-led team proved too much for Virat Kohli's men as they were defeated by 10 wickets. After scoring a below-par total (151/7), India failed to get any wicket as the opening pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan stitched a 152-run stand.

Now with a change in leadership, India will seek revenge for the humiliating defeat from a year before when they will meet Pakistan on 23 October 2022 in Melbourne.
