Indian women's Rugby captain Vahbiz Bharucha shares her experience of leading India to a bronze medal in the Asian Rugby Championship 2019. It was India’s first-ever international women's 15s victory and it came against Singapore, who had incidentally beaten India convincingly in the first-ever international match of the Indian women’s Rugby team in 2018. Vahbiz reveals the kind of mistakes India did in the 2018 championship and how she brought about the discipline and team sprit within the side during practice sessions to turn around India’s fortunes in one year. The Indian skipper also speaks about the huge impact coach Naas Botha had in the success of the team.
